Alissa Meltzer is the Assistant Director, Continuous Improvement and Accountability at the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE). Throughout her career, Alissa has been dedicated to improving outcomes for students from underserved populations. Prior to joining the SCCOE, Alissa served as an elementary school principal, classroom teacher, English Learner teacher, and English Learner Facilitator. In each of those roles she remained committed to ensuring equitable access to programs, supports, and resources for every child in need. In her current role, she is grateful for the opportunity to work with county partners to implement equitable systems that address the needs of all students.
