Presented by Karen Larson
Data becomes real as students engage in computer science. Their discoveries as they build robots, develop code, and research the ethical impact of computer science require the gathering of data and the need to make sense of it. For underrepresented students, exploring topics that impact and interest them is one way of providing opportunities to have a voice in their learning and it is that voice that keeps students engaged and encourages them to go deeper. In this session, we will play with data, computer science and design thinking that can be integrated into any subject area.
