Ma Bernadette Salgarino, Ed.D. is a Mathematics Coordinator for the Santa Clara County Office of Education. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in AYA Mathematics, a member of the National Core Advocate Network, Instructional Leadership Corps, CA Community of Practice-Mathematics, and a Board Member of TODOS Mathematics for All and the CA Mathematics Council. Prior to joining SCCOE, Bernadette has taught AP Calculus AB/BC, and AP Statistics among others, as a mentor and an instructional coach. She is a former member of the Mathematics Curriculum Framework and Evaluation Criteria Committee (2013 and 2021) and has been an AP Calculus Reader, SBAC and MDTP items writer, reader and reviewer. She was awarded the Texas Instruments – STEM Teacher of the Year in 2012 and the East Side Union High School District Teacher of the Year in 2013.
