Positive Behavioral Interventions Specialist
Jessica Simpson currently serves as a Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS) Specialist with the Santa Clara County Office of Education in San Jose, California. She is responsible for supporting PBIS training and implementation. Jessica provides facilitation, training and coaching to school district administrators and school site leadership as well as maintains related documentation, records and reports. She also facilitates ongoing assessments of school-wide PBIS implementation. Jessica attended Auburn University to receive her undergraduate degree in Secondary English Education. After completing her studies at Auburn, she continued her education at the University of Southern California in their Masters of Arts in Teaching program and at The George Washington University attaining an Education Specialist (Ed.S) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. Jessica has had the pleasure of being a classroom teacher for 13 years and has served as a school site administrator and Coordinator of Student Services. She currently a member of the USC Rossier School of Education Alumni Association,  a lifetime member of Auburn Alumni Association, and newly nominated member of the National Auburn Alumni Counsel for the College of Education. Jessica partners with the America Indian Graduate College as a Fellowship Award grantee and currently serves as an Academic Coach.
