Tara Sikorski, SCCOE Science Coordinator, is an equity-focused science educator and leader who is passionate about supporting students, teachers, administrators, and the wider school community to bring about a shared vision that, through an equity lens, values high-quality STEM education for ALL students. She is a former Teacher on Special Assignment (ToSA) for NGSS implementation and her teaching experience includes a wide range of biological science courses including Living Earth, Biotechnology, and IB Biology.  Her interests include the multiple facets of the educational system that create barriers to student opportunities, engagement, and success in science.
